What a year it has been that is now just drawing to a close. From the highs of the World Cup to the lows of the terrible natural disasters in Christchurch and beyond, it's been a year that few of us will forget
All of us here at the Mexican Cafe would like to wish all of our many customers a very merry Christmas and happy New Year, We hope you take the opportunity to get rested and relaxed and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Mexican Café in 2012.
For those staying in Auckland here is what is happening at the Mexican Café over the holiday period
WEDNESDAY NIGHT, SALSA AND NEW YEARS EVE!
Wednesday Live Music with the Henrique Morales Band will be continuing at the Mexican Cafe over the Christmas and New Year period so come on up and find out just what an authentic BRAZILIAN FORRO PARTY really feels like.
Our regular Salsa Party is going ahead on Friday the 23rd of December however there will be no Salsa on Friday the 30th of December with DJ King Salsa transferring his turntables to the following night. Saturday New Years Eve at the Mexican Café with DJ King Salsa will be an absolute blast. What better way to see in 2012.
There is still space for dinner reservations on New Years Eve but places are filling fast. Groups of all sizes can book in two sittings, the first, any time from 5.00pm (although we ask that the table be vacated by 8.30pm) and the second from 8.45pm.
Some tables will need to be clear by 10.30 so we can set up the dance floor but we will let you know as you book.
CHRISTMAS HOURS
Trading hours at the Mexican Cafe change over the Christmas period. We are closed on Christmas day then open for dinner only every day from 5.00pm on Boxing Day through until Wednesday the 4th of January 2012 when lunches resume.
And remember there is NO SURCHARGE ON STATUTORY HOLIDAYS at the Mexican Cafe
